DealScan (“DealScan”, “we”, “us”) helps car buyers understand dealer offer sheets by reading the pricing, financing terms, and add-ons on a document and explaining them in plain English. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website at angelonsight.ai or use the DealScan mobile app for Android.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you use the mobile app
- Offer sheet content. Images or scans of dealer offer sheets that you choose to capture with the app, and the figures and text read from them (such as price, APR, fees, and add-ons), to the extent the app processes them to give you a breakdown.
- Device and usage information. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, crash reports, and how features are used, so we can keep the app working and improve it.
- Information you send us. Anything you include when you contact us, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
When you visit the website
- Standard request data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure receives your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and timestamps when your browser loads the site.
- Preferences handled in your browser. The site reads your system’s reduced motion setting to turn off animated sound effects. This stays on your device.
Our website does not have accounts, signup forms, or a comment system, and we do not ask visitors to submit personal information on it.

CAMERA & OFFER SHEETS
The app asks for access to your camera so you can point your phone at an offer sheet. Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a document. You can allow or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, although scanning will not work without it.
Offer sheets can contain personal details such as your name, address, or trade in vehicle information. We recommend keeping those details out of frame when you scan, and only scanning documents you are entitled to share.
RETENTION & SECURITY
We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including in the United States (for example California and other states with privacy laws), the UK, and the EU, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you have given.
- Not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You can also stop all collection by the app at any time by uninstalling it, and you can manage permissions such as the camera in your device settings.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
DealScan is intended for adults who are buying or leasing a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website or in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
